What is the MAALSB?
The Mid-Atlantic Academy for Legal Studies in Business is a regional association of the national Academy of Legal Studies in Business. We are an group of teachers and scholars in the fields of business law, legal environment, and law-related courses outside of professional law schools, with members primarily from the Mid-Atlantic states. We welcome everyone who shares our interest in business law education, regardless of geography or title, and take pride in our encouraging and supportive culture.
We also publish the Atlantic Law Journal, a double-blind, peer-reviewed publication focused on articles of interest in the areas of business law and business law education. The Journal is ranked by Washington & Lee School of Law and listed in Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management and Marketing. The Journal is indexed and fully searchable in Westlaw's "Secondary Sources" database, beginning with Volume 9. The Atlantic Law Journal is preparing to publish its 20th
volume in the summer of 2018.
